The device’s dual cleaning system means that you can choose from standard ultrasonic cleaning or the more powerful and intense Max Clean mode. This is a nice device. It doesn't take up a lot of space, is quiet and it's effective at cleaning.
Zima dental pod pro was recommended to me by my dentist to keep my overnight mandibular splint clean. It's fantastic. Cleans my splint, I mostly use the long clean setting, while I get ready in the morning. I also use it with the cleaning tablets once every 2 or 3 days to ensure it's pristine and clean the pod with the pod wipes. I couldn't be happier.
After using this for a month, i’m beyond pleased! before the zima pod, i was using a cleaning tablet in a cup of water. not nearly as effective. even with just water, this ultrasonic cleaner gets my invisalign trays really really clean. it’s satisfying seeing what it picked up off of my trays when i open the lid after the cycle is over! i recommend this to everyone now. seriously worth the money.
I bought this device for my son, and he is very happy with it. He says that after using it, his Invisalign aligners look clean and feel much cleaner when he puts them on, unlike when he washed them manually with a brush.
Pros: Fast delivery. Beautiful design. High technology. Cons: High price. Less effective at completely removing stubborn tartar after 5 runs of the device on Max Clean mode for 15 minutes with Zima Boosting Tablets. According to the SA Dental documentation from SA Health (the Government of South Australia), the instructions were to soak dentures in white vinegar overnight to remove calculus. Everything was fine the next morning. After that, I only used the Zima device daily to clean my dentures and prevent tartar from reappearing. That's why I gave it 4 stars. Thank you for your product.

I’ve had braces and retainers and night gaurds and always felt gross about how I could never get them quite as clean as I wanted to and was concerned about what putting a non clean dental applicance in my mouth would do to my teeth. I had had my night gaurd for about a year and it was looking rough. Wanted to increase its life so started research this product. When it came in, I used the mint tablets and the 15 min cycle twice as per instructions and my night guard when from cloudy to clear and looking new.
If you haven’t purchased a Zima now’s the time. I spent days reviewing websites and customer reviews for a pod to clean my appliance as well as my sons. Chose to purchase Zima with no regrets. I bought this product hoping for magic, it’s very close. I expected it would maybe take a few runs to see a big difference because I’ve had my retainer for five years and the tablets I was using were pretty bad. One round, it took one round. ZIMA are amazing! So easy and convenient. I’m currently having Invisalign treatment and the problem with cleaning with a toothbrush every time I take the trays out is just time consuming and inefficient, as multiple factors such as abrasive brushes and toothpaste create breeding houses for extra bacteria. With ZIMA, I can trust that my trays will be clean and not primed up by abrasive products ready for bacteria. ZIMA use these very effective tablets that I have recently subscribed to. I use these very effective pro pod, and I cannot tell you how much this has improved my Invisalign journey. It will also be vital in the future for more trays if needed and retainers. The Dental Pod Pro (DPP) worked great on my mouth guard. After a few 15-minute cleanings with the Zima tablets there was no odor, confirming that the biofilm had been removed. The unit is easy to use and easy to clean. Use of another company’s hydrogen peroxide spray alone was not as effective as the Zima DPP.
I wasn't sure what to expect because this was my first ultrasonic dental pod, but I'm really glad I went with the Zima Pod Pro! I love that the water basin can just be lifted off the base to fill or rinse out. I tried a different brand of dental pod-safe cleaning tablet brand, but it barely cleaned anything so I gave the Zima tablets a try. Holy moly, between one 5 min pod cycle and a Zima tablet (let dissolve 2 min before putting aligners in, open side facing down, putting the pod lid on, and starting cycle), I don't think I've ever seen my Spark aligners this clean. They are practically sparkling! No longer are my trays slimy, gross, and stinky. Brushing them by hand and regular soaking tablets do not cut it! If you are new to ultrasonic cleaners like me, just know you gotta use cool tap water, and fill up in the middle of min and max basin lines, because the pod waves heat the water up. I was surprised at the noises the pod makes when you start a cycle! It sounds like pulsing high pitched electricity noises - it's not broken, it's the sound of the ultrasonic waves doing their thing! It kind of scared me the first time I ran it haha. I am a neurodivergent chronic migrainer who is sound sensitive, so to me, the sound is not loud, simply unpleasant, so what I do is run it and just walk into the kitchen and take my morning meds while it buzzes and does its thing for 5 min. For the rest of the day, I just pop my aligner trays out at mealtimes and use the Zima uv case (1 min uv cycle then remove and air dry trays. The combo of the Pod Pro and the uv case is fantastic! I bought the bundle. It comes with 6 free cleaning tablets. To keep my pod clean, I just rinse it the basin out with cool water after the cycle runs. Leave the lid off and let it air dry. For the case, just leave open and air dry. Every few days (2-3 days), there is some residue in both the pod and case from my trays so I just use one Zima wipe to wipe out both the pod and case. It has kept them super clean and fresh! I love my Zima appliances so much that I plan on getting the Go travel version of the Pods. 10 outta 10 will buy from Zima again and would recommend!

I’m old-school I just like a container and a tablet nothing fancy, I have 2 partials and I have a mouthguard. My sister found this device. She’s a retired denturist. She likes things like this, me I couldn’t care less again I’m old-school. My sister insisted we get this after all she paid for it not me. The price of it was not in my budget. I told her no I don’t want it. She insisted on buying it not a problem. She said it’s a really big unit. I hope you have the counter space for this. I’m thinking if it comes and it’s a big item she can keep it. To make a long story short it arrives. It’s not very big. It fits on my counter in my bathroom and every now and then she’ll use it, but it sits in my bathroom. I like the fact that it made my mouthguard look, pristine, I’ve never seen my partials so shiny before. I can’t show you before pictures because I never thought of doing that, I can only show you what my unit looks like. I can show you where on my sink it’s sitting, but that is all.

After only 1 week of use, the dental pod plus has made a significant improvement to my night guard. I had stopped using the guard due to the visible discoloration & build-up on it. I couldn't get it clean no matter what I did so decided to try the dental pod as a last resort. I saw the ZIMA AD during a game lol.. that is how I learned about ZIMA the technology caught my eye as it is nothing compared to what I was using at home to clean my retainer. The ZIMA pod does a much better job..
It's boring to wait while Tablets melts, but it's good not to worry about germs anymore. I wonder how clean it will be even without Tablets.

Great, seems to work. Used water is warm after a couple of 15 minute cleans so I reckon it is working. Nicely constructed BUT the 'power' button is a little 'glitchy' i.e. touching multiple times to start programme and extend to purple 15 minute clean.
