This is my second ultrasonic cleaner for my retainers. The first was an inexpensive model. It lasted about a year and was a little bulkier and made more noise. I love the Zina I bought. Takes up less space and I like that lid comes off for drying purposes. Worth the money.

I really like how much this pod cleans my retainer. My only complaint is that you do have to continue buying the boosting tablets/cleaning tablets and they are expensive! They only supply you with maybe 10 of them in the box initially and they recommend using them daily. So just something to think about!
After a few years of using tablets in water to soak my retainers they became cloudy and very difficult to clean even with a small brush. After a lot of research I decided to buy a Zima Debtal Pod and noticed a real difference after the first use - my retainers are clean and clear back to how they were originally. Amazing my retainer is shining🤩
My retainers smelled significantly better after using the pod. However, many thick spots that gunk built up were still there, even though the thin layer of gunk over the whole thing was almost completely removed. The tablet also took way longer than the suggested two minutes to dissolve. I waited at least five minutes- and it still didn't completely dissolve. Did that affect the quality of the cleaning?
